Melanie is a RI Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who specializes in Mental Health and addiction. She has over 16 years of experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She has worked in many different health care settings ranging from community mental health and substance abuse agencies and has been in private practice over the past 8 years. She uses a combination of evidence-based treatment modalities including dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and psychoeducational.
